Lullaby

Fear not.

These kisses which you give me now
They can never take away.
The loving words I give you here
They cannot burn or break.
The laughter which you gave to me
Will not stop with my heart.
Though they change the flow of the seven seas
They can’t break Time apart.

Every moment of joy we shared
Cannot be marred or bent.
Not with every strap and gun on earth.
Love’s time is never spent.
So hold me close in this moment,
Though Death may stand above,
And remember as I bleed,
Nothing can ever kill Love.
