Turbulence

A turbulent sweetness.
Thoughts racing.
Gasps of hot air
In the biting cold.
Rushing
To fill each moment with something,
To give something…
Clasping to experience every sense,
Pushing closer
Trying to melt into each other,
Never close enough.
Desire, desire,
Is this what fuels each great ambition?
Each giant achievement,
Each extraordinary mind?
This “Desire”,
So simply gained and given,
From one being, one simple human?
And Passion!
Is this truly what drives great minds,
Of wondrous depth and vision,
Of fame and magnificence,
To create their own glory?
Could it really be,
This raw emotion I gain from thee?
