Very interesting indeed. But, some how I find Rebecca has a split personality herself. You seem to be trapped in the mysticism of life. You want to experience and also want to to liberate. You have the potential of a great poet. Concentrate and the best will come out.

Sorry for a critique not so pleasing.

Apesadumbrado no hablo español.

Rebecca, You need to come to the USA and may learn some spanish. Here we have a country inside a country. I live here, but speak spanish everyday of my life. Also, I like that you don’t have such a bad image of the good old USA. I was in Irak working and just the fact that I wore a US flag in my uniform was enough to get …….

Your poetry is beautiful and evocative and personal, yet universal. It would mostly work well in concert with beautiful music. My publishing and record company is based on wonderful music, but I leave that decision to you.

    Listen at: http://www.cloudshinemusic.com and
    http://www.somewhereinthisroom.com

These are songs I wrote with another lyricist. My music is melancholy, and moody, but the key is that I only write melody, so I need great lyrics like yours. if you are interested, please contact me at:

    abonime@cloudshinemusic.com

If you want to combine your exquisite words with equally exquisite music, you may be interested. If not, I think you will still like what you hear. I won’t be offended if I don’t hear from you. You are introspective and fragile, so I won’t mind at all if you choose to ignore this.

I began writing when I was sixteen, stopped not long after I was married and began writing ten years later after the death of my father…It took me quite a few years to find a style that I was comfortable with and even then over the years my writing and style has continued to evolve even as I have matured…

These poems show a lot of promise as well as remind me of myself when I began writing so keep writing and don’t let anyone stop ya…

To dapoet, thankyou, and keep writing yourself 🙂

To Andrew… wow, that is a very interesting proposition. I write songs – but my lyrics are the worst part! Haha! I’ve tried before to put my poems to music but to no avail, but if you think you can… I’d be happy for this to happen… I am rather sick at the moment and really need to get some sleep, but when I am well and rested again I will certainly take a look at your sites and get in contact with you. Thankyou.
